"Won't be an Orlando Band for Long" - Franz Stahl from Foo Fighters
"No Momma"
Born in the heart of the lights and sirens surrounding the
Orlando entertainment machine, The Majestys present an elevated musical
experience like none that have come before. This is the music of a new age.
Post-contemporary, anti-sedentary, joyful, traumatic, invigorating, and
seductive all at once, the music paints a masterpiece of epic proportion;
coaxing its way into each of us. Original, genuine, and pure splashes of rock,
pop, R&B, even jazz are skillfully crafted to lyrics cognizant of our most
intimate desires. And you can’t help but dance.
Henry Moth
Henry Moth leads the melodic seduction that is The Majestys.
Hailing from parts of English Ronford, he came to the US as a child and began
playing the drums. Today, his expressions are given a wider range of avenues as
he jumps from keyboard to guitar, molding his voice to both. When asked about
influences, he grins and answers with a slight British draw, “The obvious,
Lennon.”
Tim Hassett
Mr. Hassett slaps a baseline that lays footprints in the ear
while his voice plays melody. Unwritten Law, Pink Floyd, and Tom Petty name
just a few of his influences. Originally from Massachusetts, he came to the
Sunshine State in 2009 hoping to make a career from his music. When asked what
he wants of his part in The Majestys he’s clear that he wants to make honest
music he can be proud of.
Jake Hogeland
Jake’s percussion, all at once alarming, empowering, and
provocative, very rightly claims the gut of the music. With influences like
John Bonham and Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan, R.I.P. he manipulates the cymbals and
drums to wholly enhance the musical experience as the slight melodic chime in
one instance while in the next he erupts into a welcome juggernaut of beats. He
too, adds to The Majestys three piece vocal melodies.
Andrew VanHoeck
Andrew’s guitar adds a matured precision reminiscent of
influences like Led Zepplin, Coldplay, and Jack White. Born and raised in
Orange County’s City Beautiful, Andrew has seen garage bands come and go. Now
he lends his “be playing or be dead” passions to know The Majestys will come
up.
Adam Sikora
One would think Adam was born in the wrong decade when, as
the youngest member of the group, he spouts out names like Morrison, Hendrix,
Joe Perry, and Angus Young after being asked about influences. His intensity is
highlighted by his guitar solos and his youthful eagerness is paramount as he continues
to prove himself.
